The guys have been talking about Brian Eno for a decade now, so don't take that too seriously.
If they're already working on the next album, what do you think are the chances of the next album being a double-CD, including Senior and a new album?

Considering how Senior was supposed to come out last year as a sort-of-double-album with Junior, very low. xD

Hey People, I've not been on this site for a while. I'm still eagerly awaiting Senior... Unfortunately, Röyksopp seem to take a very long time to release anything, which isn't necessarily due to the two guys making this decision - it's more likely to be label tactics, as has been suggested on this thread - or if not "tactics," due to a lack of tactics, such as there being more "important" things on the mind of the label and as has been Röyksopp being metaphorically put on a shelf at the back of the room and forgotten about - which is a shame really, since there's a "cult" of devoted fans, ready to buy and/or download everything the band releases. Röyksopp don't milk their fans; their releases are few and far between, so I'm ready and willing to open my wallet - very, very willing, and I've been ready for ages! :)

Someone has edited the article for Senior on Wikipedia and added this tracklist. There's only nine songs - I'm hoping that these songs will be longer than normal:

The Wikipedia article for Senior wrote:1. And The Forest Began To Sing
2. Tricky Two
3. The Alcoholic
4. Senior Living
5. The Drug
6. Forsaken Cowboy
7. The Fear
8. Coming Home
9. A Long, Long Way

Sure are quite a few The (something) titles. My Google search skills have failed to clarify whether this is the actual tracklist, bar those songs already confirmed.

All we need now is an actual release date! xD

What the hell?
no I Wanna Know?

They have performed more I Wanna Know in the shows the last 12 months, and I thought they are going to release it this time. :(

^ Don't they have a few songs that are for live shows only? Maybe it's one of them.

Besides that, Röyksopp are also known for renaming updated tracks. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the rare tracks would appear on Senior.

Good news to read a tracklisting, finally. I hope it's genuine. I'm really looking forward to this album.

Today is the day for a new Track of the Month, so my guess is that they will give us an update on the Senior case too ;)

Wikipedia article's been edited again to say that the official release date is June 2, but the source is from a Japanese online shop. I'll wait until Röyksopp announce the actual official release date before writing it down into my Moleskine diary. xD

Amazon has the album on their catalogue as an import from Japan. (And I can't believe that the overall rating for The Understanding on Amazon is only 3.5 stars!)

"check the [royksopp dot come] site in a few days, we’ll try to explain what is going on with the ‘Senior’ release."

That doesnt sound too promising.

Since CDs in Japan are always released earlier or later than its official release date. ( with bonus and special jacket). I still order Japanese edit this time as well.

Thanks, good read. At least Röyksopp confirm the album should be out before July 10th...

If they got rid of the crystals at the top, and changed the font at the bottom, it'd look better.

Who's responsible for the album artwork?

I think the artwork is terrible too. I had to comment on it on their official site also. I think that with a few suggestions they could revamp the original choice. It looks like cheap and boring. A new font could do wonders.
