Actually I like it pretty much. Much more simple like Melody AM and less fancy with hundreds of colours messed up. Also a lot more quiet (again just as Melody AM). Hopefully it's a hint to the style of music. Funny with the faces.

Artwork of Röyksopp releases has always been great. I can hardly believe the poor cover of Senior to be the actual artwork. I don't mind the dark picture, but they could have kept the same Röyksopp logo as the one on Junior.

Just having some fun with Photoshop. I'm not sure the 'Junior' font helps improve this album cover.

New era = different fonts and artwork... The junior font is a bit more child-ish, so using that for "Senior" wouldn't fit too well IMO.

I certainly prefer the version with the Junior-font.

And if that's considered too childish, they could have picked a very old-fashioned gothic font, not something banal like Helvetica.

Wow, for a conceptual album - meant to be the opposite of the previous one, there's not many people who understands this.

The artwork is simple and moody, it symbolizes the music on the album. People should stop with the hate and just accept that this is the way they want it portrayed.

I've read some reviews and man, they just don't get the point. They keep comparing it to Junior and notes that there's no more uptempo beats and such. Well DUH! That's the whole point of the album! If they don't get the point of the album, they shouldn't review it! Keep the f*ck away from it.

It's NOT comparable to Junior, its somewhat comparable to A.M. but it's an entirely new concept, hence conceptual album.

Most of the conceptual albums of music in the past 50 years have all been complimented in later years for the ballsy moves by the artists.

I'm sure Senior will one day be the pinnacle of downtempo music.

Yes. Which would make sense...the time of cute promo videos and distributing albums to MP3 retailers like 7digital more than a month before "release" should be long over, it's bound to always leak somewhere somehow.
Once it's done, announce a date, give it to iTunes and Amazon 2 days in advance, do not give it to press, and it won't leak. Really simple concept that Wall of Sound and EMI apparently still don't understand.

Hm. Yeah, Junior leaked pretty early also I remember. However I can't seem to find anything using Google. (It's kinda annoying that Google gives you a ton of "Junior"-related sites when searching for "Senior") I sent a message to the guy with the two YouTube-vids asking him where he got them from. Still no answer..
