"The Understanding" and "Junior" are low quality CD's?

Postby BIOLOG » June 22nd, 2009, 10:01 am

Hi there
Well, I noticed one thing so I'd like to ask you for your opinion.
From the first day I bought "The Understanding" album I have problems with playing it on my Hi-Fi, while other CDs are just working fine. The same goes for "Junior" ...my Hi-Fi always gets blocked while playing that CD.

Does that mean both Royksopp albums are of lower quality? Do you have the same problems?

It's interesting that Melody AM works fine on my Hi-Fi even though it's 7 years old.

I have never used a HI-FI syetm myself, but the one my father has, has problems playing a lot of CDs. It simply indicates that it cannot find the CD in the player. My father's old HI-FI system did the same. I don't know why. It's usually the same CDs, but works eventually after several attempts. I don't know if it has anything to do about quality, as it usually works fine on any other standard sound systems. I'd rather say the players in those HI-FI systems are pieces of junk, however that just doesn't make any sense, eh? SOme CDs have strange kinds of copy protections. I suspect that's why some players might have a hard time reading the coding.
